Widowed after 42 years of marriage, Roz has 6 children and eighteen grandchildren. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly, Pomona in home economics with an interior design emphasis.
Along with being a stay-at-home mom through the years, she held various leadership positions in Boy Scouting for 22 years and Girl Scouts for 5. She also worked in a family history center for 16 years and was a professional speaker for about 7 years, teaching family history classes and organization.
No longer busy with scouting or family history and now retired as a housewife since her husband died, her energies are now spent on her family, class reunions, church and singles activities. She enjoys gardening, landscaping, remodeling, sewing, crocheting, cross-stitch, and historical novels. Lately, she has been busy attending church single’s conferences, dances, and firesides, and is often found dancing through the night.
Her message: “Take care of yourself – you’re special. Take care of your family – they are special. Life is good. Hope to see you at the next reunion.”
