I broke my leg working in the back yard on July 23. The wheel barrel was heavy and I was tired. It got wobbly and started to take me in the pond with the fish. Since I didn’t want to drown, I pushed myself away from the pond and landed on the grass only my right leg didn’t clear the edge of the pond and came down with a bang. Because of the way it broke, I have to stay off it for a total of 3 months with no weight on it. I’ll get to learn how to walk again in October. In the meantime, I am getting around the house with a wheel chair.
